3 Things To Start 2023 Off Right!

3 Things To Start 2023 Off Right!

Happy New Year Childcare Providers aka Life Changers!

I am never big on the saying “NEW YEAR, NEW ME” because if you are harboring the same habits from the year before nothing is will change.

Forming new habits that become a routine will not only help you but can change your life for the better. In the book Atomic Habits by James Clear, he said if you do something to make you 1% better each day, the impact it will make on your life after a year will be astronomical. Inversely if you get worst by 1% each day your effectiveness will decline.

This is a new year full of so much possibility for your childcare business. There are 3 main things that you need to do that will start your year off right.

  1. Create a schedule- I know this seems so simple, but so many business owners go day today with a things-to-do list but not a schedule to keep their life in order.  I am a big believer in time blocking. I know you have heard about money management but how about time management. Learning how to get the most out of your day by actually completing tasks every day.
  2.  Exercise- Don't even mumble under your breath, “where am I going to find the time”. In 2022 we are not finding time, we are making time! As an administrator sometimes you lack movement. We don’t want your body to become worn out from the stress of the business with no release. At least 3 times a week I need you to work out for 1 hour. If you can work out for an hour let’s start with 30 min.
  3. Self-care- I know what you thinking, “Isn’t having a day of self-care”? Well, the truth is you get to define the term self-care and what it means to you. To some, it may mean time getting a facial, and to others, it might be reading a book. Whatever you decide that it is, I want you to make sure it is included in your life from this day forward

No need to worry about what this year is going to bring. One thing I know for sure is that you have survived all of your bad days so 2022 is going to be a breeze for you.
